Departmental Features
In the first year of study, students in the Department of Business Administration acquire the fundamental knowledge needed for effective business administration, and learn to view business administration through a wide lens to see how it connects with other parts of an organization. This foundation is then built upon with practical lectures offered in the following years that enhance students’ expertise in business and deepen their studies through the three fields below.
- Marketing Course
- To understand consumer psychology and area characteristics, and actively learn from real business experience. Arguably, the leading factor in the worldwide economic stagnation of the 21st century is that despite the increase and spread of communication systems, the rapid growth of social and individual diversity has created increasing challenges in understanding people’s needs. Likewise, even though technical advancements in the field of automation and robotics continue to cause debate between efficiency and employment of labor, there is no question that there will be a demand for people who can see above and beyond the baseline data to truly understand the consumer. This course is designed to foster individuals whose goal is to be a professional who can perceive and recognize underlying trends and attitudes, and use that skill to develop products that reflect specific area characteristics and introduce IT products by using a design-oriented thinking process.
- Accounting and Finance Course
- To gain the knowledge, skill and confidence needed to pass one of the most difficult examinations – the examination to become a certified specialist, such as an accounting professional.
As the world continues to unite together, we strive for more objectivity in the value of goods and currencies. Likewise, the human spirit continues to embrace challenge and thrive in adversity. These are the same goals fostered by the Department of Business Administration, where individuals aim to achieve the utmost professionalism in the fields of finance and accounting. We strive to foster individuals with the skills and morals required to attain accurate and significant corporate information, which is the essential instrument for successful business management and a necessity for proving an organization’s trade credibility. - Global Commerce Course
- To acquire the essential skills, such as the development of language abilities that enhances effective communication, or the necessary qualifications, such as becoming registered customs specialists in the field of international distribution, and to also learn practical skills and confidence through hands-on experience in our industry-university collaboration program.
International exchanges are now more than ever a necessary element for the effective management of a local community in a globalized world. What maximizes each area’s characteristics and creates satisfying relationships and partnerships is global commerce. This course is designed to foster individuals whose goal is to be a professional in the field of trade and logistics, and global partnerships through the utilization of practical knowledge, cross-cultural understanding and communication skill.
The Department of Business Administration is committed to fostering knowledgeable and adaptable professionals who can meet the diverse needs of today’s business world and society.
