Chairperson Susumu Miyata had a meeting with Chinese Premier Wen Jibao as an award-foreign expert and was invited to the banquet hosted by the premier on 29, Sep. 2012 in Beijing.
The premier said “We sincerely welcome foreign experts and talent to join us in various means with China’s modernization drive.”
The banquet was held successfully in the Great Hall of the people in Beijing in celebration of the 63th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, award-winning foreign expert as well as experts in various fields being invited.
Chairperson Susumu Miyata attended the banquet with his spouse.
Corporate Cousellor Jun Miyata, accompanying Chairperson, said, “I again realized strong friendship with old friends in Peking University School of Stomatology and people of SAFEA (State Administration of Foreign Expert Affaires), though I had worried a lot about the present situation of two countries before coming to China. Asahi University will continue to maintain mutual exchange of students, faculties and the fields of education with China to foster individuals who open up the international society in the future to build essential relationship between China and Japan.”
