With heartfelt Condolences-Former Dean Dr. Bill Dodge, School of Dentistry, University of Texas Health San Antonio

Dr. Dodge was s highly accomplished educator, clinician, and leader over 40 –year career at UT Health San Antonio and will be greatly missed. His accomplishments are many, none the least of which is establishing the Center for Oral Health Care and Research in 2015.
Our sincerest condolences to his wife, Jill, and family.
Dr. Dodge received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Trinity University in San Antonio and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Before becoming Dean, from 2013 to 2018, Dr. Dodge served as Vice Dean of the school from 2004 and Associate Dean for patient care from 1996 through 2003. He first joined UT Health in 1978 after five years in private practice in San Antonio and two years as captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps.
Dr. Dodge devotedly supported international exchange between University of Texas Health San Antonio and Asahi University.
Someone so special can never be forgotten.
