Important Notices for the Summer Break

お知らせ |2025年07月28日

To all students

We understand that many of you are planning a variety of activities during the summer break. As this summer is expected to be even hotter than usual, please take good care of your health and pay attention to the following points to avoid accidents, incidents, and other troubles. We hope you will enjoy a safe and meaningful summer.

1. Prevention of Heatstroke and Infectious Disease

Be mindful of your physical condition not only during outdoor activities but also when indoors. Please also remember to take appropriate precautions against infectious diseases.

[Heatstroke Prevention]

(1) Stay hydrated regularly (2) Maintain a regular routine (3) Get sufficient rest

[Infectious Disease Prevention]

(1) Ensure proper ventilation (2) Wash and sanitize your hands (3) Wear a mask when necessary

2. Prevention of Traffic, Water- and Mountain-related Accidents

During the summer break, the risk of traffic accidents, water-related incidents (such as drowning), and mountain-related accidents increases. Please be especially cautious to avoid both causing and becoming involved in such accidents. Driving under the influence of alcohol is a crime. Never do it.

3. Prohibition of Drug Abuse

The use or possession of illegal drugs— such as dangerous drugs (commonly known as “legal highs” or “herbal highs”), stimulants, and marijuana —is a criminal offense. To avoid drug-related trouble, firmly say no to any offers, even from acquaintances, and keep your distance from such situations.

4. Sexual Violence

Acts of sexual violence such as sexual harassment, obscene acts, voyeurism, groping, stalking, and non-consensual sexual intercourse are crimes that carry both criminal and civil liability. These actions violate human dignity at its core and may cause victims lasting psychological trauma.
